2027: How Groups From Other Political Parties Drum Support For Re-election Of Gov Otti

*Mayor lauds for appreciating good works of Gov, charges them to galvanize support from their various communities.

Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti has become the proverbial golden fish that has no hiding place. This administration has been marked with remarkable achievements laced with signature projects that are scattered in the three senatorial districts of the state.

This lend credence to widespread acceptance and overwhelming popularity which stems from his outstanding performance so far recorded even the critics of the Labour Party government in the state cannot deny that the banker-turned Chief Executive Officer of the state is delivering of dividends of democracy to the good people of Abia State.

It is not surprising that pro- groups are falling over each other for one endorsement or other ahead of 2027 governorship election in the state.

Recently,For example,a group under aegis of Umuahia South Support Group for Dr Alex Otti ,2027 visited Mayor of Umuahia South LGA,Hon Engr Chinedu Philip Enwereuzo in his office, Apumiri, Ubakala to intimate him on their readiness to drum support for the globally acknowledged performing governor of Abia State ,Dr Alex Otti ahead of 2027.

The Coordinator of the group ,,Dr Iheanyichukwu Isikaku said that they are from different political parties but having seen the good works the governor is doing which is visible everywhere,therefore the group cannot pretend not to have seen it,hence the resolve to support Dr Alex Otti’s re-election bid come 2027.

According to spokesman of the group, the endorsement is not really a party issue,if someone is doing well,you have to be bold enough to say so irrespective of your party affiliation ,the fact remains that Gov Alex Otti has done exceedingly well in all facets of the state economy.he should be supported by men and women of all conscience.

Dr Iheanyichukwu Isikaku who said he hails from Umuopara in Umuahia South, pointed out that people who have not come back home for years will marvel at the massive ongoing expansion of road at Abia Tower -Umuopara -Onuimo road, the huge reconstruction of Abia Specialist Hospital, Amachara,ongoing work on Umuopara Ring road as well as expansion of old Ossah Mission Hill road now Aguiyi Ironsi Boulevard,he said,are living testimonies of Gov Otti’s good works.

To this end, he commended Abia Governor for the giant strides recorded within two years and barely two months in office, noting that in infrastructural developments,Otti is number one while pledging the support of his group to enable the performing governor to return back and continue his good works beyond 2027.

“There are alignments and realignments, Umuahia South Support Group for Dr Alex Otti 2027 is ready to work for re-election of our governor in the forthcoming political dispensation” Dr Isikaku promises.

Isiaku said that Gov Otti is saleable material,any day,any where,and will conviently wins election on any party he pitches tent with, little wonder,the group is supporting a governor who is synonymous with verifiable achievements.

In his response, the Mayor of Umuahia South LGA, Hon Engr Chinedu Enwereuzo thanked them for the visit and assurance to work for re-election of Gov Alex Otti in 2027 which he said is right thing to do.

Mayor noted that this is the first time of hearing about this group,” Umuahia South Support Group for Dr Alex Otti in 2027 ,the interesting is that they said this group cut across different political parties drumming support for the governor.

Enwereuzo however, described Gov Otti as a good man that wants the best for Ndi Abia, stressing that every notable Ndi Abia is incumbent to support him to come back in 2027, adding that for the group to remember the laudable projects of our governor to give him support,that he was very excited about it.

Continuing, Umuahia South Mayor, Hon Enwereuzo informed the supporters of other groups ” Abia Arise and Onu Ugu Abia for governor’s wife” both championing the good works the governor has been doing,called on support group to cue into these groups to galvanize support for the governor in their communities.

“Go to your homes and gather the communities and galvanize support for what they said Dr Otti has been doing, spreading the good gospel he is doing,come 2027,we shall all gather to celebrate Gov Otti’s re- election victory.” Mayor Enwereuzo charged support group.

He further charged them not to go home and sleep, continue to spread the good news, mobilize the needed support for all to deliver the goods when the chips are down.

“In 2015, Umuahia South LGA gave Otti the overwhelming votes,repeated same in other subsequent elections of 2019 and 2023,will therefore triple that of 2027 given the solid base of the Council area and the proven achievements of Gov Alex Otti” Mayor noted.

He therefore, called and sundry to lend their total support to ensure the landslide victory for our governor in 2027 .
