Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar representing Zamfara West Senatorial District has congratulated the 92 youth from his constituency, who were recruited into the Nigerian Army under the 88 Regular Intake commissioned at the Nigerian Army Depot, Zaria.
This was contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Saturday, by the Chairman, Sen. Yari’s Publicity Committee, Ibrahim Muhammad Birnin Magaji.
Yari is the Chairman Senate Committee on Water Resources.
According to the statement Senator Yari disclosed this at the Passing Out Parade of the 88 Regular Intake of the Nigerian Army at the Army Depot Zaria.
Addressing the recruits, Yari, represented by the Coordinator of his Constituency Office, , Alhaji Sha’ayau SarkinFawa Talata Mafara promised more job opportunities for the unemployment youths from his constituency.
“I congratulate you for making it to the final stage of the training, your resilience, patience and hard work became a proud to me, Zamfara West Senatorial District and the entire Zamfara,” Yari explained.
He renewed his commitment towards providing employment opportunities to his constituents, especially youths in the military and paramilitary establishments with a view to making them available for national assignments.
“I want to urge you to carry your assignments with dedication, full confidence and support to the ongoing Federal government’s effort in the fight against insecurity.
“My Zonal constituency office will continue the collaboration with the relevant agencies to source such placements for deserving constituents so that the rate of unemployment amongst youths will be reduced to the barest minimum,” Yari added.
Senator Yari’s scholarship initiative is currently sponsoring over 2,000 Zamfara indigent youths including orphans in 20 tertiary institutions across the country.
Very soon, more educational, health, social and economic integration programmes for 20, 000. orphans will be launched by the lawmaker.
