The Governorship Candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) and Chairman of the United Progressive Political Parties (UPPP), Hon. Bala Abdulghafar Dirisu, has extended condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Hon. Dirisu expressed deep sympathy over the passing of the patriarch, describing it as a painful loss to the Ododo family and to the people of Kogi State.

“Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. On behalf of the National Rescue Movement and the United Progressive Political Parties, I extend heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the passing of his beloved father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo. We pray Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus,” the statement read.

He further prayed for Allah to grant the Governor, his family, and the entire Ododo household the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.

Hon. Dirisu assured the Governor of his prayers and solidarity during this period of mourning.
