The 2016 World U- 19 Dana Cup winning coach, at Denmark 2016, Lawrence James Ekele has helped Jega United FC Kebbi State to qualify from Division 2 to NLO Div 1 in 2024.

The talented coach who has had a good run with all the teams he has coached, is excited about the feat.

In an interview with our correspondent in Kaduna at the weekend, Coach Ekele is optimistic that the team will gain further promotion as the new season begins this year.

Checking his exploits, our correspondent recalls that in 2011, he was at the National institute for Sports (NIS).

The talented coach was in 2012, at Heartland Fc Owerri.

He moved to Zamfara United FC in 2013.

From 2014 to 2020z he was at DSS FC, where he did several exploits.

In the year 2021, he moved to Future of Africa International Academy.

His career received a boost from 2022/2023, where he moved to Kebbi State team Academy.

In 2024, he secured the top job at Jega United Fc Kebbi State, where he has been taking the team to greater heights.

The Benue born tactician at the moment, is being contacted by several top clubs and the national team, our correspondent gathered.
