Adamawa People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stalwart and a renowned politician, Chief (Dr.) Maurice Vunobolki, the Dyapa Bwatiye has warmly congratulated His Excellency,, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Executive Governor of Adamawa State.
Maurice in statement personally signed, described Fintiri as the People’s Governor and the Project Master who has well-deserved the conferment of the Golden Award of Excellence by the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) on this year’s world Teachers Day 2025.
Maurice reiterated that it’s a distinguished honour and a clear testament to Governor Fintiri’s unwavering commitment to revitalizing education in Adamawa State.
“Through his purposeful leadership, the state has witnessed remarkable progress in motivating and empowering teachers, providing a conducive teaching and learning environment, empowering learners, and building human capital for sustainable development.
“His administration’s sustained investment in scholarship programmes, massive infrastructural development, free and compulsory education policy which triggered enrollment and retention of students; payment of WAEC/NECO Fees to imbibe equality, expansion of tertiary institutions; and capacity-building initiatives continues to inspire positive change among Adamawa learning environment, laying a solid foundation for a more educated and empowered generation.
“As a firm promoter of positive human change, I celebrate this well-earned recognition and commend His Excellency for his visionary strides in reshaping the educational landscape of the state and driving inclusive growth through quality education.
“It is worthy of note that Governor Fintiri’s consistent recognition and receipt of awards from organizations, professional unions, and the Federal Government is no longer news, but rather a frequent feat—a reflection of his outstanding exploits in good governance and transformative leadership.
