The newly elected Executive Council of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), have been called upon to move the party to greater height.

Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapha Farauta, who gave the advise during the inauguration of the new party leadership, challenge them to multiply the party victory in 2027 election.

Addressing the new party leadership at Government House Yola on Monday, Farauta seeked for reconciliation to unite and move the party forward.

Farauta urged them to, work in the interest of the party, and carry along all stakeholders to consolidate on the party’s gains in the state.

” Carry every one along, especially women and youths for positive development and internal democracy in the party”, she stated.

Earlier, the outgoing state PDP chairman Barrister Abubakar Tahir Shehu appreciated members of PDP for their support and cooperation throughout their stay in office, encouraging them to extend same to the new exco

He expressed confidence in the capacity of the newly elected exco led by Hamza Bello Madagali to effect positive changes in the party and the state.

In his speech, the new party chairman Hon Hamza Alhaji Bello Madagali, said his emergence is victory for all, collective triumph for the party and democracy

He maintained that his mandate is to drive commitments to building a greater and stronger PDP in the state.

New Nigerian reports that Madagali, is a former chairman of Madagali local government and organising secretary of the party was elected unopposed without any contestants.

The new executive committee includes Engr. Belmond Dogo as State Deputy Chairman. The three Vice Chairmen are Umar Sahid (South), Shekarau Yerima (Central), and Steven Doma (North).

Other are Saleh Mohammed Musa Shelleng State Secretary, Barr. Ishaku Y. Daniel Legal Adviser, and Bature Moses serves as Auditor.

Titus Samaila Organising Secretary (South), while Victor Dogo Publicity Secretary (South). Ahmadu Dahiru Treasurer (North), Suzan Zira Woman Leader (North), Dedan Clifford Youth Leader (South), and Jafaru Yusuf Financial Secretary (South) among others.
