In fulfillment of his earlier promise to reward party loyalty and grassroots commitment, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, who also serves as the Director-General of the Senator Uba Sani Support Group (SUSSG), has extended financial support to selected youths and women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State.

The beneficiaries, who were instrumental in ensuring the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Uba Sani (CON) and the APC during the 2023 general elections, each received ₦1 million as business support and economic empowerment.

The presentation ceremony, held at the SUSSG office, Rabah Road, Kaduna, witnessed a joyous turnout of beneficiaries and party faithful.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Sadiq Lagos said the initiative was in line with Governor Uba Sani’s empowerment drive aimed at recognizing and supporting individuals and groups who worked tirelessly to advance the APC’s success across the state.

“This gesture is a token of appreciation for your unwavering loyalty and hard work during the campaigns. It is also meant to help you strengthen your economic base as we continue to support the Renewed Hope agenda of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani,” he noted.

The beneficiaries, drawn from various local government areas, applauded Hon. Lagos and commended the governor’s inclusive leadership approach.

They pledged continued support for the APC and the developmental agenda of the current administration.

Some of the beneficiaries include Hon. Sani Lawal (Gabasawa), Hon. Idris Abdullahi, Mustapha Teddy, Malam Ahmed (Igabi), Hon. Aliyu Dan-Zico, Bashir Mainasara (Zaria), Malama Habiba (Nasarawa), Hajiya Fatima (Chikun L.G.), Musa Shehu (Hayin Banki), Babangida Danjuma (Kaura L.G.), and Amina Kabala.

The empowerment programme underscores the administration’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive governance, recognize party dedication, and uplift the living standards of citizens across Kaduna State.
