The federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Kano, Honourable Ibrahim Zakari Sarina has called on the general public from the urban and rural communities to use the commission in resolving their disputes with zero charges.

He made this remark in an interactive session with journalists, shortly after the rally organized by the commission to commemorate its golden jubilee celebration held in the ancient city of Kano.

Sarina added that, “our services are free and we resolve any type of misunderstanding without charging a single Kobo which is the reason and objective of establishing the commission by some well meaning citizens fifty years ago”.

He disclosed that he assumed office recently and the commission received 4,652 cases across kano State and resolved 767 cases successfully which is a great landmark achievement especially at present when there are more complaints.

Honourable Ibrahim Zakari Sarina stated that the commission will embark on more public enlightenment into the remote areas in order to ensure that the general public residing in the extreme rural settlements have a good knowledge about the services of the commission respectively.

” Public Complaints Commission is working selflessly to ensure that there is peace and unity amongst the citizens through resolution and mutual understanding, and since I assume office as the federal commissioner of the kano public Complaints Commission we have recorded a tremendous achievements within short time which is a great success”.He concluded.

Ibrahim Zakari Sarina urged journalists and other Social Media handles to use their various media organisations to enlighten the general public at both rural and urban communities, adding that journalists remained the pillars of development and partner in progress.
