The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has hailed the security measures put in place by Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.

ACF pledged to cooperate with the Nasir Idris-led administration to further enhance peace and stability in the state for its development.

Alhaji Dalhatu Wazirin Dutse, ACF chairman, Board of Trustees, while on a courtesy visit to the governor at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, expressed ACF’s satisfaction on the activities of the Governor in the state as the forum marked its 25th anniversary celebration.

According to Dutse, the governor’s leadership style and security initiatives are making progress and development, assuring that Kebbi State has witnessed significant improvements in safety and security under his watch.

He explained that ACF appreciates his efforts in ensuring the security of lives and property in the state, adding that his administration’s commitment to the welfare and safety of citizens is commendable.

The ACF chairman also explained the forum’s commitment to protecting and promoting northern interests and values, stressing the need for collective efforts to address security challenges in the region for the overall well-being of the people.

Dutse assured, “We will work closely with your administration to tackle security issues and promote development in Kebbi State.”

Governor Nasir Idris, while responding, assured the ACF of his administration’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the state, promising to continue working closely with security agencies and stakeholders to address security challenges that affect the citizens of the state.

He added that he would do everything possible to ensure the safety and security of the citizens, while appreciating the ACF’s support and cooperation, he said that he look forward to working together to build a more secure and prosperous Kebbi State.
