As the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League set to kick off on the 8th of November, 2025, Adamawa United FC, one of the club that will be taking part got a morale booster when Jimeta Football Academy donated footballs and bibs for training yesterday in Yola.

Presenting the items to the club at their training ground, leader of Jinta Football Academy, Alhaji Ibrahim Maludu said the gesture is to spur the team for glory this season.

He noted that with the kind of technical crew the team has now, Adamawa United FC won their group.

“I am very confident that this team will take us to premiership league next season”

He thanked the management team of the club for sensitizing the team.

Receiving the items on behalf of the club, Technical Director of the club, Chief Justin Madugu alongside with the Secretary of the club, Dr. Yusuf Chidama thanked the donor and promised that the team will make use of the teams to improve the club.

They called on well meaning members of the society to support the club, stressing that sports generally is very rewarding both the athletes, families and the government.

Meanwhile, Adamawa United FC is set for a training tour to four local government areas of the state.

The ten days training tour will take place in Mubi North, Michika, Hong and Gombi local government areas.

According to the club Secretary, Dr. Yusuf Chidama, the training tour will afford the technical crew perfect the club for the challenge ahead.

He said ” Iam very confident that the team we are putting together now can play any team”

” our challenge in the past was we were playing our matches away but towards the end of last season, we got our home ground approved by NNL”

Adamawa United will round up the training tour with a friendly match against Domain United FC of Gombe.

The team has been drawn in Group D of the ambridge league with sixteen matches to be played, the winners of each group automatically qualifies for premiership league next season.

Adamawa United FC will be playing all their home matches in Makawada Stadium in Numan.
