The National Leadership of African Democratic Congress (ADC), one of the top emerging opposition parties in the country, on Friday affirmed the nominated leaders of the party in Zamfara State.
The occasion which took place in Gusau the state capital, had in attendance, teeming supporters.
It was not just another political gathering, it was a call to action and a reminder that the party stands for fairness , justice and inclusion.
According to the party, the main mission for the state leadership composition is to make the structure fully functional.
Among those in attendance was, Atiku Abubakar Saleh (Baraden Maru), described as a hardworking Deputy National Organizing Secretary.
Others include, Malam Jafaru Sani, the North West Vice Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar, the North West Secretary of the ADC Adhoc Committee, including Hon. Karima Sama’ila, who raised a voice on Persons with Disabilities, Hon. Kabiru Garba Gusau, the State Chairman, and many others.
‘’ We reaffirmed a new chapter for Zamfara ADC. Our message is clear. The ADC is giving real opportunities for youths and women to lead, not just to watch from the sidelines.’’ Balarabe Rufa’I the National Youth Leader,

The party also used the moment to reemphasize the urgent need for everyone to collect their PVCs and be ready to defend democracy through active participation.
‘’This was not just another political gathering, it was a call to action and a reminder that the ADC stands for fairness, justice, and inclusion. The attendance of Atiku Abubakar Saleh who is seen as a prudent grassroots mobilizer and strong political strong force, affirmed the party’s determination to stamp its mark in the state in all subsequent elections.
The leadership of the party also visited the party’s temporary secretariat in Gusau to encourage a stronger membership drive.
According to the National Youth leader, ‘’What inspired me most was hearing members declare boldly that “ADC is our hope.” That hope must translate into action, and we are committed to creating space for young people to shape policies and for women to take their rightful place in leadership.
“With every voice affirmed today, the ADC has shown it is ready to stand with the people of Zamfara and Nigeria. Change is not just possible, it has begun.”
