*Prince Oyelade Says Gov Makinde to perform coronation June 28

Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde is set to crown Prince Adebayo Adegbola as the new Eleruwa of Eruwa this month.
The state Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade who made this known in a statement said the grand ceremony of the coronation will hold on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
He maintained that the coronation ceremony has been confirmed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Ojo.
According to the Commissioner for Information the appointment of Prince Adebayo Adegbola as the Eleruwa of Eruwa is a reaffirmation and dedication to preserving Eruwa’s cultural heritage and also to foster unity among its people.
“Beyond its ceremonial significance, the coronation symbolizes the collective commitment of the community to honoring its historical roots and traditions,” he said
The Commissioner then tasked the people of the area including residents and stakeholders to actively participate in the ceremony, emphasizing that the event will further strengthen communal ties, leading Eruwa into a future of growth and prosperity.
