APC Chieftain Applauds Aiyedatiwa’s Infrastructure Drive

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ricardo Azeez, has commended Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his impressive record in executing key infrastructure projects across the state.

Azeez, in a statement signed by his aide, Odudu Ayodele, said the governor’s achievements demonstrate purposeful leadership and a commitment to grassroots development.

He said, “Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown that governance is about touching lives. From road construction to urban renewal projects, he has justified the confidence reposed in him.”

Highlighting some ongoing initiatives, Azeez noted, “The construction of the 27.9km Ode Ajagba–Akotogbo–Ijuosun Road in Irele LGA, the asphalt overlay of selected roads in Akure, Ondo, Owo, Ose, Idanre, Ilaje and other local government areas, as well as the dualisation of the Akungba–Ikare township road with a spur to the university, are remarkable strides that cannot be overlooked.”

He added, “Other interventions such as the installation of 1,000 solar-powered streetlights in Akure, the construction of a 24.75km dual carriageway from Ugbejin Junction to Igbokoda Jetty, and the upgrading of the Reuben Fasoranti Park in Akure show the governor’s attention to both infrastructure and urban aesthetics.”

Azeez urged the governor to sustain the momentum, stressing the projects’ importance for economic growth, improved mobility, and community welfare, while appealing to residents to support the administration to achieve further development.
