The immediate past Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has said that he remains determined, resolute and unshaken in joining forces to end the era of misrule in Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the former governor, “my action is in tune with public wishes and opinion as a Nigerian and inorder to reposition and right the wrongs with like minds.

” I remain one person that believes in democracy and good governance “, Tambuwal said as he explained that the coalition was based on reports received from across patriotic professionals, practitioners and in view of the relevant political parties put in perspective and other factors.

” We came together based on our believe and what is good for Nigeria and working within the space of democratic principles and process to flush out Tinubu’s led APC government.”

Tambuwal spoke in Sokoto on Thursday evening, shortly on arrival at his Kontagora Road, Sokoto residence, after securing bail from the custody of EFCC and received by tumultuous crowd of supporters chanting political songs of victory for the lawmaker.

” No going back on my journey with like minds to salvage the country from the woes of the APC led government.

” Tinubu’adminstration has taken Nigerians to the trash. A government with no compassion, no sympathy and concern for Nigerians who are fast disturbed by insecurity , poverty and social underdevelopment” , Tambuwal said.

Tambuwal who is a serving Senator in the 10th assembly insisted that the coalition movement was tailored at ensuring things were done right exposing that Nigerians were never fools and believed in a democratic process aimed at changing the government of the day which is what the coalition stood for ..

” Some forces are not comfortable with the journey and want to intimidated some of us.

” All these are what the current government of Tinubu are not ready to take. They are confused and dump founded.

” Before the 2023 elections, we campaigned and reawakened Nigerians that they should not vote Tinubu and today here we are “, he stressed.

Hitherto, the former speaker expressed concerns over Tinubu’s policies describing them as not people friendly and lacked humane consideration.

” It’s unfortunate that the 2023 election was rigged and so many wrongs especially on federal character and spread of national projects are orchestrated to affect all 6 geopolitical zones amidst insecurity , poverty and do many other ills “, he pointed out.

The former governor thanked supporters and well wishers in Sokoto and beyond for their efforts and fervent prayer while acknowledging the resilience of key players in the coalition journey.
