In a clear demonstration of people-centered leadership, Hon. Alexander Adanu, aspirant for the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency by-election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has inaugurated a newly renovated borehole in Sabon Gida, Kakau, providing much-needed relief to residents grappling with limited access to clean water.
For years, potable water has remained a pressing concern across communities in Chikun/Kajuru, with Sabon Gida among the most affected.
The restoration of this critical water source marks a significant step towards addressing the daily challenges faced by the people, particularly women and children, who bear the brunt of water scarcity.
The inauguration ceremony was marked by an atmosphere of joy and gratitude. Residents, visibly relieved, gathered to witness the flow of fresh, clean water. Elders offered prayers, youth broke into spontaneous songs of praise, and community leaders described the intervention as timely and impactful.
