His Highness the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has been appointed Ambassador of the Kaduna State Multi-Door CourtHouse (ADR) Centre in his Emirate.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Emirate Council Media and Publicity Officer, Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai, which said that, a letter of credence dated July 28, 2025, signed by Hon. Justice Mohammed Tukur Mu’azu Aliyu, the Chief Judge of Kaduna State, outlined the Emir’s role in promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes, including mediation.

The appointment recognizes the Emirate Council’s remarkable achievements in ADR under the Emir’s leadership. In the past two years.

The council has successfully resolved over 2,000 cases, including land disputes, matrimonial issues, inheritance, and debt-related matters, thereby, decongesting the courts.

It informed that the Emirate Council addresses an average of two to five cases daily, between Monday and Thursday.

The Chief Judge’s visit to the Palace earlier this year and a recent visit by Justice Darius Khob, Chairman of the Small Claims Court Committee underscores the success of the Emirate Council’s ADR initiatives.

The Emir’s appointment as Ambassador is a testament to his commitment to promoting peace and justice in the community.
