It was a huge attendance at Kakuri Jumma’at Mosque where Governor Uba Sani surprised worshippers by showing up for congregational Friday Service.
Uba Sani accompanied by top Government functionary, Speaker of Kaduna House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman and other principal officers of the state legislature took the worshippers unaware as presence of the governor was not expected at the mosque for the Friday congregational prayer.
In his sermon, the Imam of the mosque Liman Muhammad enjoined Muslim faithful to be Allah conscious and observe His injunctions in deed and utterances, adding that the best of mankind were the obedient and pious ones.
He called on the worshippers to have the interest of contributing their quota toward making the state great and the country by extension.
The Imam admonished governments at all levels to be conscious of the welfare of their subjects by ensuring the execution of policies with direct impacts on the masses.
While acknowledging the return of relative peace in the state, Imam Muhammad expressed optimism in the ability of the present administration in the state to overcome other challenges.
He charged worshippers to prioritize contributing their quota in making the state prosperous by cooperating and obeying government policies for growth and development.
Imam Muhammad Harped on efficacy of collective payers, saying consistent supplication could change the socioeconomic fortune and status for the better.
