As Muslims across the world mark the holy celebration of Eid-Al-Adha, also known as Sallah, the President of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Dr. Yusuf Gawuna has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the Muslim faithful.

In his  goodwill message, Gawuna who also doubles as Chairman of Federal Mortgage Bank, congratulated all Muslims and emphasized the deep spiritual significance of the occasion.

He called on adherents of the faith not to lose sight of the lessons behind the celebration which is  sacrifice, obedience, and faith.

“This is a very significant period for  Muslim faithful. “The occasion of Eid-Al-Adha reminds us of the great sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim, which symbolizes total submission, tolerance, and willingness to obey divine instruction.” He said.

He further urged Muslims to continue to uphold the values of love, unity, and kindness during and beyond the festive period.

“As I celebrate  with fellow Muslim brothers and sisters on this auspicious Feast of Sacrifice. I urge them to keep their faith strong, continue to trust in the Almighty Allah, and extend love and generosity to one another,” he said.

“On behalf of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, I wish all Muslims a delightful Eid-Al-Adha, and may Allah’s blessings be abundant upon us all.” He added.
