Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, has sponsored 20 vibrant youth and women from the state who participated in the International Youth Day Summit 2025, held at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Human Capital Development, Nura Suraj Gusau disclosed this in a statement issued by his Technical Aide on Media and Communication, Comrade Bilyamin Muhammad.

According to the statement, the Hon. Special Adviser who led Zamfara State delegation to the summit, described the governor’s commitments as a welcome development.

Suraj noted that the summit, which brought together young leaders, innovators, and changemakers across Nigeria and beyond, provided a great platform for Zamfara youth to share ideas, showcase innovations, and reaffirm the administration’s strong commitment to youth empowerment and human capital development.

He emphasized that the initiative was designed to unlock the talents, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of young people in Zamfara State.

Governor Dauda Lawal, in his message to the participants, reiterated that empowering youths through exposure, innovation, and leadership development remains a key pillar of his administration’s Six-Point SMART Agenda.

He expressed confidence that the knowledge and experiences gained from the summit will contribute to moving Zamfara forward and preparing its youths for global opportunities.

The sponsorship by the governor reflects his administration’s resolve to ensure that the youths of Zamfara are not left behind in national and international conversations on development, peace, and innovation.
