June 12: Kano Speaker Congratulates Democrats,  Heroes Of Democracy

 The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended warm congratulations to democrats, past, present, and emerging, on the occasion of June 12th Democracy Day. 

 Represented by Alhaji Abdullahi Alfa special Advisor on Legislative Matters to Rt Hon Speaker, Falgore commended Mambayya House for organizing such a significant event, which reflects on the sacrifices of those who gave their lives in the struggle to entrench democratic ideals in Nigeria. 

 He emphasized that under the current leadership of Rt. Hon. Falgore, the Kano State House of Assembly has embraced openness and inclusivity by welcoming stakeholder participation in legislative processes.

 The Assembly gallery remains open to the public, and plenary sessions are aired live to enhance transparency and civic engagement.  

Falgore reaffirmed the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to enacting quality legislation aimed at improving the living conditions of Kano’s citizens. 

He also extended a hand of partnership to all stakeholders for more robust collaboration in strengthening democratic governance.
