Member of the House of Representatives representing Lere Federal Constituency, Honourable Ahmed Munir has described the resounding victory recorded by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State as a reflection of Governor Uba Sani’s purposeful leadership.
He expressed this in an exclusive interactive session with civil society groups in the state, led by Comrade Dr. Abdullahi Abdulrauf, on behalf of the Leadership of the Coalition of Northern Civil Society Groups.
The Member representing Lere Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Munir, reflected on the recent bye-elections in Kaduna State, where the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured sweeping victories.
The polls, which were held in Basawa State Constituency, Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, and Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, produced what Hon. Munir described as a landmark political success and a renewed vote of confidence in the leadership of Governor Senator Uba Sani.
Speaking during the chat, Hon. Munir stressed that the victories reflected the Governor’s purposeful leadership.
“These victories are not accidental; they are the product of vision and hard work. What we witnessed in these bye-elections is a clear endorsement of Governor Uba Sani’s humility, his grassroots engagements, and his inclusive approach to governance. The people of Kaduna are responding to his developmental strides, and they have chosen to reaffirm their trust in him and in our great party, the APC.”
Hon. Munir further highlighted Governor Uba Sani’s focus on grassroots trust-building and unity as decisive factors in APC’s victory.
“Governor Uba Sani has displayed rare political wisdom. His focus on peace-building, inclusiveness, and service delivery has reassured the people that APC remains the party of progress. He has brought stakeholders together under one vision, ensuring that the people’s interest always comes first. That unity of purpose is what gave us this resounding success.”
The lawmaker also praised the campaign team constituted by Governor Uba Sani and led by the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, describing their grassroots mobilization and coordination as instrumental.
“The Speaker and his team deserve enormous credit. Their dedication, grassroots mobilization, and strategic communication were key to our success. They worked tirelessly, ensuring the party’s message of unity, development, and service was taken to every voter. Their coordination transformed the Governor’s vision into real political gains.
Hon. Munir extended his congratulations to the newly elected representatives, urging them to meet the expectations of their constituents.
“I congratulate our newly elected colleagues and urge them to embrace this mandate with humility and responsibility. The people have spoken, and they must justify this confidence by delivering quality representation that aligns with Governor Uba Sani’s developmental agenda for Kaduna State.”
When asked about his own role, Hon. Munir reaffirmed his dedication to effective representation for the people of Lere Federal Constituency.
“For my people in Lere, I remain fully committed to ensuring that dividends of democracy are felt across every community. My focus will remain on infrastructure, education, empowerment programs, and people-centered policies. Alongside His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani, I am determined to consolidate the gains of democracy and deliver tangible results that improve lives.”
Concluding the interactive session, Hon. Ahmed Munir described the APC’s bye-election victories as not just political wins, but a renewed covenant between leaders and the people of Kaduna State.
“This victory belongs to the people. It represents their trust, their hope, and their desire for progress. As leaders, we must not take this lightly. Instead, we must redouble our efforts to ensure good governance, peace, and prosperity across every corner of our dear state.”
The interactive session, facilitated by Comrade Dr. Abdullahi Abdulrauf on behalf of the Coalition of Northern Civil Society Groups, ended on a note of optimism, with Hon. Ahmed Munir reaffirming his partnership with Governor Uba Sani in steering Kaduna State towards greater development and unity.
