Kaduna Commissioner Mamman Lagos, Beacon Of Vision, Hope For Grassroots, Says Aide

Kaduna State Commissioner For Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos has been described as beacon of hope and embodiment of vision for growth and development of people at the grassroots.

Chief of Staff to the commissioner, Sani Abdul who made the observation, stated that Mamman Lagos since assumption of office in 2023 had left no stone unturned in ensuring the success of Governor Uba Sani’s SUSTAIN agenda, especially for revamping and transforming the health and education sector.

He listed the achievements of Mamman Lagos to include; absence of ethno-religious crisis at the grassroots, strengthening local government administration, enhancing the role of traditional institutions among others.

He pointed out that the commissioner has prioritized capacity-building, resource mobilization, while adopting some effective strategies of promoting peaceful coexistence and social cohesion through consistent community engagement and dialogue.

He said the strides were achievable due to the immense support the commissioner receives from Governor Uba Sani, whose passion for a better Kaduna State cannot be overemphasized.

“Our amiable Governor Uba Sani must have seen the wisdom in appointing a man with vision, zeal and commitment for growth, prosperity and development of the state.

“Under the watch of the Hon. Commissioner Sadiq Mamman Lagos the ministry has witnessed unprecedented growth, efficiency and effectiveness in line with the policies of the present administration.

“As one of the most vibrant commissioners the state has produced, Mamman Lagos has brought unparalleled expertise, dedication and passion in service to people of Kaduna State, especially those at the grassroots.

“As one of the engine room of Governor Uba Sani’s administration, Mamman Lagos is instrumental in shaping policies and ideas that have significantly contributed in the success story of the present administration.

“His innovative approaches, teamwork and collaborative leadership style have enabled the Government to achieve her objectives, improving the lives of Kaduna State citizens.

“Under him, the ministry has implemented numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing local government administration, promoting traditional institutions and fostering community development anchored on accountability, transparency and good governance.

“Governor Uba Sani administration has benefitted immensely from Mamman Lagos’ problem-solving skills, contributing in the process to driving the government’s agenda in meeting up the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

“I want to use this opportunity to express our appreciation to Governor Uba Sani for finding our principal worthy of appointment, leveraging in the process the exceptional leadership skills of Mamman Lagos in service to the state and Its people,” he stressed.
