The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) recently paid a courtesy visit on the Executive Chairman of Makarfi Local Government Council, Hon. Garba Muhammed Sabongari.

In a statement issued by the Assistant Director of Public Affairs Unit, Nuhu Garba Dan-Ayamaka said the visit was led by the Director General of the Authority, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya (Ph.D).

In his speech during the visit, the DG reiterated the commitment of KASUPDA to strengthen collaboration with the local government councils to achieve success in the state.

The DG explained that the visit was to solicit for usual co-operation and support from the local government councils for ensuring proper urban planning and good developments across the state. He further introduced the staff in charge of the area, Aminu Dangora.

Chairman of the council, Hon. Garba Muhammed Sabongari who expressed appreciation for the visit also led KASUPDA management team to inspect the Makarfi Township Staduim under renovation sponsored by the Federal Representative member of the area, Hon. Umar Shehu Ajilo.

He pledged continued support from the council to KASUPDA in discharging its responsibility.

Other areas visited during in ensuring compliance with standard, proper developments, safety of lives and property include, Railway fence at Rigachikun, Filling station along Highway-Rigachikun, Community ICT under additional development without approval in Jaji, complaint site at Dogarawa, Yan- Lemu in Zaria, complaint site for encroachment at Federal Low Cost in Zaria and a fence constructing along the access road at Ikara.
