National Orientation Agency ( NOA) commenced third quarter 2025 sensitization campaign over the weekend with a three-kilometre road walk along the ever busy Kawo Road in Kaduna.

Leading top management, staff members of the organization and other development partners, including reporters, state director of NOA Danjuma Makama explained that the sensitization campaigns aimed to mobilize citizens for a common goal of nation-building anchored on patriotism, commitment and passion for growth and development of the country, would be carried out in all 23 local government areas of Kaduna State.

The procession accompanied with drums and public address system blaring various sensitization chants took off from the Federal Secretariat along Kawo Road with officials of NOA distributing handbills and flyers containing various short catchy messages of public enlightenment.

Makama said the third quarter of 2025 awareness campaign nationwide would focus on key issues such as security , National values re-orientation, flood and disaster management, youth investment programme among others.

Makama stressed the imperative for parents to inculcate patriotism, spirit of love and togetherness and commitment and sacrifice for growth and prosperity for the nation.

He pointed out that Nigeria could only be great if citizens, collectively complement the efforts of governments in ensuring peaceful and ideal environment for all.

The state director frowned at the trending practice of extreme jamborees accompanied with signing of shirts on inappropriate parts of the female body by young school leavers and graduands, describing the act as alien to Nigeria’s culture and against the every moral pedestal.

Makama enjoined citizens of all social and economic strata to utilize the ongoing Federal Government’s programmes to cushion economic hardship.

He reiterated the commitment of the current administration to provide succour for the masses and secure lives and property of Nigerians.
