The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau MON on Tuesday, paid a solidarity visit to the erstwhile president of the now defunct Nigeria Football Association (NFA), Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima MFR at his residence located at Fagge Quarters within Kano Metropolitan.
The NFF President said the camaraderie visit to Galadima is to wish him speedy recovery as he recuperates from an undergone successful surgery.
Gusau who described Galadima as a leader per excellence, said the Kano born sports administrator has remained ceaseless in deploying his vast knowledge and experience towards the development of sports, saying his landmark contributions are evident in the football sector.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to bequeath Galadima good health and wealth to the benefit of the sports loving people of Nigeria.
In his words, “I feel so happy and comfortable the way, I saw Galadima today, and how he is recovering from the sickness and thanks to Almighty Allah, for his mercies upon him and upon us all”.
The former NFA boss in his remarks, thanked the NFF president for the visit. He reassured him that he is fast recuperating.
Galadima felicitated with the NFF president, board members and the entire football family in Nigeria for the victory of the Super Falcons at the just concluded Women African Cup of Nations held in Morocco.
He also prayed for the successful outing of all Nigerian national teams that are participating in various competitions along with those competing in the qualifying stages.
The NFF president was accompanied on the visit by the chairman NFF Technical Committee, Alhaji Sharif Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan, the chairmen of Yobe and Jigawa states football associations, Alhaji Garba Muhammad and Alhaji Sabo Abdullahi respectively, alongside the Vice Chairman Kano State Football Association, Alhaji Aminu Muhammad Chana among others.
