Nigeria @65: Mamman Lagos Commends Gov Uba Sani’s Transformational Leadership In Kaduna

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, has congratulated Governor Uba Sani on the occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, describing his leadership as a turning point in the history of the state.

Hon. Mamman Lagos, in a statement to mark the national event, noted that Governor Uba Sani has remained steadfast in delivering the dividends of democracy to the good people of Kaduna State, despite the social and economic challenges facing the country.

He stressed that the state has never had it this good, as the governor’s policies and programmes are people-oriented and targeted at improving lives at all levels.

The Commissioner highlighted landmark achievements of the administration, particularly in education, where new schools have been constructed, old ones renovated, and teachers empowered to deliver quality learning.

He also lauded the governor’s investment in infrastructure, citing the rehabilitation of roads, provision of rural electrification, and water projects that are transforming communities and boosting economic activities.

On healthcare, Hon. Lagos commended the ongoing upgrade of primary health centres across the 23 local government areas, as well as the governor’s commitment to ensuring affordable and accessible medical care for the people.

He said these interventions have restored hope to ordinary citizens and bridged the gap between government and the grassroots.

According to him, Governor Uba Sani’s inclusive style of leadership, where every segment of society feels represented, has helped to strengthen unity and peace in the state.

He pointed out that the governor’s deliberate support for women and youth empowerment initiatives has created opportunities for entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, and job creation.

“As we celebrate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, Kaduna State has every reason to rejoice. We are blessed with a visionary leader in Senator Uba Sani who has brought accountability, transparency, and development-driven governance to our dear state,” Lagos said.

The Commissioner further explained that after years of neglect, Kaduna is now experiencing steady growth and positive change.

He maintained that the governor’s focus on security, community development, and partnership with traditional institutions is gradually laying a strong foundation for sustainable peace and prosperity.

He therefore called on citizens to remain supportive of the governor and his policies, stressing that no government can succeed without the active cooperation of the people.

“With collective effort and unity of purpose, we will consolidate the gains of this administration and take Kaduna State to greater heights,” he added.

Hon. Lagos concluded by praying for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for Governor Uba Sani as he pilots the affairs of the state, assuring that history will be kind to him as one of the leaders who transformed Kaduna at a critical period in Nigeria’s democratic journey.
