All is now set for this year’s final of the 37th edition, Mock Africa Cup of Nations.

The finals scheduled to be decided at the Nigerian Navy Group Playing Field, Ajegunle, Lagos, shall see, Morocco 1-0 winners against Angola, battling Cote D’Ivoire, who had earlier defeated, Tunisia, by penalty shoot out of 3-2, goals aggregate to play in the grand finale of the football tournament.

According to the organizers, Special guest of honor at the final will be Mayor Olamilekan Akindipe, chairman Ajeromi Local Government Area, who has promised not to only sustain the oldest grassroots football tournament in Nigeria., but to use sports particularly football, to take youths of the area off the streets.

Meanwhile, 23 teams took part in the Mock Africa Cup of Nations which has produced several international football stars for the country.

The stars include, legends like Ifeanyi Udeze, Samson Sia Sia, Emmanuel Amuneke amongst other top stars.

However, trophies, medals and cash would be given to the two finalists and the third placed team.
