Team Kaduna is pursuing its ambition of surpassing previous record in the National Youth Games (NYG) as it completes in the 9th edition of the games, tagged Asaba 2025.
One of the sports that the state is teaching its competitors a good lesson is volleyball, both indoors and beach events.
On Monday September 1, 2025, Kaduna trounced Abia 2-0 in the boys indoor volleyball and Nasarawa and Imo, 2-1 and 2-0 respectively in the girls category.
In the beach volleyball events, Kaduna whipped Ondo and Niger 2-0 respectively in the girls category, maintain its dominance in the game as defending champions from the last edition.
In the beach volleyball boys category, Team Kaduna replicated same feat, subduing Osun and Plateau 2-0, respectively.
On August 30, 2025, Kaduna indoor volleyball boys defeated Kwara 2-0.
On August 31, 2025, Oyo boys suffered same fate as they lost 0-2 to Kaduna, while Kebbi also fell 0-2 to Kaduna in the girls category.
