The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin in the early hours of (today) Monday, joined his ancestors at the age of 90.
New Nigerian learnt that the demise of Oba Olakulehin came few hours to the commencement of activities lined up for the celebration of his 90th birthday
A World Press conference has already been fixed for 2pm at the Olubadan palace to kick start the 90th birthday celebrations of Oba Olakulehin.
New Nigerian recalls that Oba Olakulehin ascended the throne as the Olubadan in July 2024, spending barely a year on the throne.
He was born on July 5, 1935 and received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde, on July 12, 2024, as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
