Tragedy struck at Omitwoju/ Inalende area of Ibadan early Sunday, when part of a storey building collapsed and reportedly killed three persons.
Also, eye witness account said no fewer than six persons sustained serious wounds especially those at the ground floor
New Nigerian gathered that part of the frontage of the building collapsed at about 3am during a pre get together for a post Eid El Kabir carnival billed to kick off around 10 am in the day.
It was learnt that the frontage of the building collapsed with those dancing on it together with the Master of Ceremony (MC) and his instrument.
Sources said the it was the collapsed frontage of the building the fell on those celebrating downstairs during which the three persons met their untimely death.
Eye witness account stressed that the incident resulted into confusion with many of the people at the get together scampering for safety from the scene of the collapsed building.
The Director Operations, Oyo State Fire Services Agency, Engr Ismail Adeleke when contacted said the agency was not informed about the incident,
