The 29th graduation ceremony of Regina Pacis College, Garki, Abuja, held on Friday July 25, 2025, witnessed a colorful celebration as the Class of 2025, known as “The Orion Class” , was advised to use their education to make meaningful difference in society.
The event, which began with a thanksgiving Mass in the school chapel at 10:00 a.m., was attended by parents, friends, and dignitaries.
The homily was delivered by the Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Joseph Obada, who urged the graduands to remain connected to their alma mater and to live with purpose, reminding them that true success lies in how many lives they positively touch.
Guest speaker and Vice Chancellor of Veritas University, Rev. Fr. (Prof.) Ichoku, challenged the students to nurture bold dreams and avoid distractions that could derail their future. He described them as fortunate, given the millions of Nigerian youths who have never seen the four walls of a classroom.
Principal of the School, Rev. SR. Mary Aloysius Onwuegbuchulam Phd, commended the students’ brilliance, work ethic, and respectful attitude. She described them as holistic achievers and emphasized that the graduation theme, “Empowered to be Inspired to Succeed,” captures the essence of their journey.
The ceremony featured several highlights, including an orchestra performance, the unveiling of the yearbook, a valedictory speech by Chikamara Obinna-Chukwu, and a fundraising drive that yielded over ₦20 million to purchase additional computers for the school.
