The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja on Thursday disclosed that there cannot be religious crisis in Ibadanland.

Oba Ladoja said this while receiving delegates from the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) at Olubadan Palace Oke-Aremo, Ibadan during a courtesy visit.

According to the Olubadan, this is because there is no family compound in Ibadanland without the adherents of the various religions particularly Christianity, Islam and African Traditional Religion

“There cannot be religious crisis in Ibadanland as there is no family compound without the adherents of the various religions particularly Christianity, Islam and African Traditional Religion,” he said.

Oba Ladoja added, “Any traditional ruler including Olubadan of Ibadanland is the father of all religions and such a traditional ruler should preach harmony and religious tolerance among all religious faithfuls”.

Appreciating the RCCG delegates for their visit, Oba Ladoja enjoined them not to relent in their prayers for Ibadanland, Oyo State and our dear country Nigeria.

Earlier the General Overseer of RCCG , Pastor Eunoch Adeboye represented by Pastor Sola Adeyeye, a member of Board of Trustee RCCG and National Coordinator of Royal Fathers’ Fellowship, congratulated Oba Ladoja for being enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Pastor Adeboye pledged the spiritual support for peace, harmony and success throughout the reign of Oba Ladoja.

He then prayed for the Olubadan, members of the Olubadan In – Council, Ibadanland, Oyo State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

At the palace to receive the RCCG team with the Olubadan are Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola the Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Kolawole Adegbola the Otun Balogun of Ibadanland,Oba John Olubunmi Isioye Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Biodun Kola Daisi the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland Designate , Oba Salawudeen Amidu Ajibade the Asipa Olubadan of Ibadanland Designate, Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland and Oba Muritala Adebayo Akande the Ekerin Olubadan of the Ibadanland Designate.
