The Managing Director of PremiumTrust Bank, Mr Emmanuel Emefienim, has commended Governor Uba Sani for his visionary leadership and an unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and progress.

Mr Emefienim who made this known at the opening of the Kaduna Branch of the Bank which doubles as the North West hub on Wednesday, further noted these attributes have renewed the people’s hope across Kaduna State.

The MD also noted that, ‘’through improved security, urban renewal, economic diversification, infrastructural development, and youth empowerment, he has created an environment where businesses thrive and investments flourish, positioning Kaduna as a preferred destination for partnerships like ours.’’

According to Emefienim, ‘’Kaduna’s political influence, entrepreneurial spirit, and urban renewal drive make it a natural home for a forward-looking institution like PremiumTrust Bank.’

‘’To the good people of Kaduna, PremiumTrust Bank has arrived to walk with you, invest in you, and grow with you. Together, we will write a new story of economic transformation and shared success,’’ he added.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Uba Sani noted that the commissioning of the bank’s branch in Kaduna State, ‘’is a resounding vote of confidence in our state’s growing economic strength and in the reforms we have pursued with resolve since 2023.’’

The Governor further said that the commissioning is ‘’an affirmation of our government’s tireless efforts to build an investment-friendly, growth-oriented business environment.’’

‘’From the onset of our administration, we recognized financial inclusion as the bedrock of sustainable development. That is why the very first Executive Order I signed in office was focused on expanding financial access to the underserved and unbanked.

‘’Since then, we have enrolled over 2.5 million residents—especially women, youth, and underserved into the formal financial ecosystem. We have scaled support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), empowered agri-preneurs across our 23 local governments, and launched targeted social interventions,’’ he noted.

According to the Governor, ‘’the arrival of Premium Trust Bank adds fresh momentum to these efforts, with new products, digital solutions, and literacy initiatives that will bring banking to every doorstep.’’
