With unity of purpose to serve, there will be no limit to the number of lives that can be touched through foundations.

Founder and CEO of Bose Rahila Adamu Foundation, Honorable Bose Rahila Adamu expressed this in her remarks at a medical outreach organized by the foundation, in partnership with Nature Vantage, 24Telemed, and Zen Hub Mental Health Initiatives at Barnawa, Kaduna South Local Government Area of Kaduna metropolis yesterday.

“Today, as we carry out this programme across two days here in Barnawa and Shagari Housing Estate, and later in Kakuri Village and Television Village, we are reminded of a truth I hold dearly, which is when we come together in unity and service, there is no limit to the lives we can touch.

“This outreach goes beyond offering free medical services. It is about restoring dignity, providing relief, and reminding every individual that your health matters, your life matters, and your wellbeing is a priority,” she said.

According to her, through the programme, they are providing:
Free blood pressure and glucose checks, General medical consultations, Free medications and health education, and for the first time, mental health consultations, “because complete health is not just physical; it includes the mind as well.”

She appreciated their partner organizations whose collaboration she explained, made the outreach possible, “Nature Vantage, 24Telemed, and Zen Hub Mental Health Initiatives.

“Each of you has brought your strength, expertise, and compassion to the table, and today’s outreach is a testament to the power of partnership,” she said.

To the doctors, nurses, and mental health specialists, she said that they owe them a special debt of gratitude.

“Your knowledge, your compassion, and your willingness to serve are the heartbeat of this outreach.

“To our volunteers, your commitment and energy are commendable. Thank you for giving your time and strength to this cause.

“To our community leaders, I thank you for your guidance and for opening your doors to us.
Your support is the bridge between this initiative and the people it is meant to serve.

“And to the members of the community here with us today, this outreach was designed with
you in mind. Please take advantage of the services provided. Speak with the medical team, ask questions, and receive care without fear. We are here for you, and it is our joy to serve you,” she said.

Speaking further, she said that as someone deeply committed to the wellbeing of the people of Southern Kaduna, she assured them that this is not the end.

“Healthcare, dignity, and human development will always remain at the center of my vision.

“With continued collaboration between government, organizations, and communities, I believe we can build a Kaduna where access to quality healthcare,
including mental healthcare, is no longer a privilege, but a right enjoyed by all,” she stressed.

She thanked everyone who made the outreach possible, especially their partners, Nature Vantage, 24Telemed, and Zen Hub Mental Health Initiatives; “our doctors, nurses, and mental health specialists; our volunteers, our esteemed community leaders and of course, the wonderful people of this community.

“May this programme bring healing, peace of mind, and renewed hope to every family represented here.

“Thank you, and may this medical outreach be fruitful, impactful, and the beginning of greater things to come,” she prayed.

In his remarks, Muhammad Kabir Zubairu a traditional leader, the District Head of Barnawa described the efforts by the NGO as significant.

“Well, what is happening here in my palace today is a great significant effort. by an NGO. The owner of that NGO, was born and brought up in Barnawa here. So that’s why I’m very, very happy and very proud.
I’m the most happiest person that one of our community members grew up, and has an NGO from abroad, that she’s here to assist our community towards their health.
And this effort is making a healthy local government area, state, and federation,” he said.

He therefore, called on other NGOs to emulate Bose Rahila Adamu Foundation.

“I know government is really trying, because I’m a member in the local government hospitals or health community. I’m the chairman of the social mobilization organization. I know that government is trying. But what I want to advise government to do more, to put more efforts on health.

“Especially, people are suffering in the hospitals. When you go before you buy a card, you see doctor. All this money they are paying. There’s no need. We Nigerians have very strong economy. From our economy, they can render all the services to us, health and education and infrastructure. So I advise government to do more on what they are doing.

“Secondly, our people now, we are advising them. These doctors and nurses are advising us, let us go and use their advice.
We should use our drugs according to doctor’s prescription and paying all material to protect our NGOs, to protect our government, to protect our country.

A beneficiary, Nana Aisha Musa said that the outreach was impactful, both male and female beneficiaries were well attended to.

She prayed God to bless the foundation and open more doors of funding for more people to benefit
