“This theme is not just a slogan, but a call to action. It’s a reminder that our daily choices and actions have a profound impact on the environment, local communities, and the economy.
” The 2025 theme is a clarion call for the tourism industry to adopt sustainable practices, reduce its carbon footprint, and promote cultural heritage preservation. It’s an opportunity for stakeholders to come together and create a better future for all.
“As we navigate the complexities of the tourism industry, it’s essential that we prioritize sustainability.
“This means adopting environmentally-friendly practices, supporting local communities, and promoting cultural exchange programs would definitely boost the nation’s economy, ” the expert explained.
This is just as the FTAN Coordinator urged all stakeholders to make a conscious effort to incorporate sustainable practices into their daily operations.
