The Zamfara State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on the the credible politicians in the state to join the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Kabiru Garba made the call while speaking to newsmen in Gusau on Friday.
Garba noted that the party leadership is ready to receive new members who are willing to join the party.
“As I am speaking now, over 100 members from various political parties have so far defected to the party within the last ten days.
“I believe more defectors from the All Progressive Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would join the party here in Zamfara.
“We consider this development as a great opportunity and encouragement to boost the strength of our party,” Garba said.
According to him, the party is ready to welcome more defectors irrespective of the political parties, “all we need is credibility”.
“Therefore, we are appealing to credible politicians who have the good records of political integrity to join the party,” he added.
He further said that the leadership of the party in Zamfara remains intact.
“We are ready to lead this party to victory ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“We are capable, we are equal to the task, the manifesto of our great party is well equipped to develop Zamfara and Nigeria as a whole,” he noted.
“The State ADC leadership welcomed even His Excellency, Governor Dauda Lawal if he decides to join the party,” Garba explained further.
